Better than Ke$ha.

I would say those are the ones I find fantastic. The others on your list I haven't listened in full or I need to give them more time before I give my final thoughts on them.
Disraeli Gears & Please Please Me weren't the ones I expected to see mentioned. (I guess I am use to seeing them get panned around here.) If you like The Strokes, you might like "Girlfriend" by Matthew Sweet. Robert Quine and Richard Lloyd play guitar on the album. Each one had his on channel for the recording, one on the left the other on the right. Another is "Can't Stand the Rezillos," Jo Callis on guitar (he wrote most of the material) and William Mysterious owns the bass on that album.

No King Crimson or Keiji Haino because they didn't have the images.

What's the album with the blue cover between Beefheart and Gorguts?

I will check them out. Thanks for the recs.

I generally hated please please me until I realized I was taking the record to seriously. It's not meant to be looked at the same way as a white album or a sgt. Peppers. I've always loved cream though.

You're welcome.

I guess any of those albums could be recommendable, depending on one's taste. I edited my post with a new pic with the list of abum titles on the side. http://www.musicbanter.com/general-m...ml#post1817354. Most of those albums are guitar oriented albums representing music styles of Country Blues, Jazz, Instrumental Rock, American Primitive, Celtic, Acid Folk, Blues Rock, Progressive Rock, Shoegaze, and Alt Rock, etc. and they span a period of eight and a half decades.
