I think his songs strike some kind of odd balance between being a bit overlong and repetitive, and full of interesting and fun details and variations that keep me engaged regardless. The more I hear his songs, the more they seem like invincible bangers. The hooks creep up on you, then suddenly seem obvious and huge.

For You and Purple Rain are both legitimately strong albums all the way through, but he's definitely more hit & miss than people will admit.

Lol.

For anybody wondering. Elph edited it from "my girl" to "someone irl".

I'm outing you because it shouldn't be a problem.

I almost feel the opposite. I've got like 29 of his albums and I like all of them. This blows my mind.

I can't read your edits. I read your initial post, walked away for a second, came back and quoted you and you had change it but since I didn't refresh the page or re-read your post as I quoted it, I responded to you including "my girl".

We can't read your edits.

I don't worry about that, because my edits are just boring stuff where I wrote bad sentences due to laziness, then try to fix it.

Only a few times I've actually retracted something I regretted saying.

EDIT: Oh, so you can't read edit. lol. Well, only a few times where this would have made me feel at ease.

I can edit your posts but I can't read something you take out. Unless I'm missing something here.

If you make an edit and it leaves an "edited by" note on your post, we can see the post history. I think it's time-based.

Some sections you can see edits though. I've never figured out why not all of them have it or don't have it. You don't even have to be a mod.

That's news to me. I've got a feeling I'm only using 40% of what this site can do.
