I never said she was on the same level as Michael, NO ONE is but that still does not change she is an Icon
Until a little while ago, I'd never even heard of Rhythm Nation, and I'm willing to bet a large percentage of even this forum hadn't either. I'm sure I've listened to a few of her songs, but not for years. Seriously, no one on Earth has ever listened to a Janet Jackson album. Not once. And don't say you have, cause you're clearly living on Mars. Nobody remembers anything about her except for her name. That's it. If it wasn't for that she'd be just another forgotten footnote in music history.
