Its amazing how music from your teens sticks with you and brings back memories. However, I think the music around my early twenties probably influenced me the most.

P.S. I also sometimes get embarrassed at some of the stuff in my collection from my teens (e.g. Level 42 :bonkhead: What was I thinking???)

Like your user name, i dig that song.

I still listen to the jam, the clash and the stranglers and i think i always will.

Some bands mark a period in our lives and we eventually outgrow them but some bands are just good and you could listen to them forever.

I have listened to all the exact same bands as I did when I was about 8 years old and they're still my favourite. I have become more mature with my music however and have a love for many more genres :)

Quite simply, how much of the music you liked when you were a teenager do you still listen to?

There is no music from my past that I dislike, but I don't go out of my way to listen to it. I'm too busy looking for new music or enjoying my favorites.

i still listen to System of a Down, which i started listening to in 2001 when i was 15 and Mastodon, which i got into when they released Blood Mountain when i was 19.

other than that, i don't really listen to music i listened to in my teens as often now.

most of the music i listen to now i discovered when i was in my early-mid 20's.

I started listening to Mr. Bungle when I was 7 and I still love them.

Is there any traditionally good music you like or is it all on the cutting edge?

Serious question.

What does traditionally good mean? Good is good, no?

Ya, but Mr. Bungle and Captain Beefheart both hang out on the fringe. No?

Traditionally = Mainstream = Middle of the road ****.

Not up for a debate. Never mind.
