Deerhoof: im a big fan of this band and im used to their name by now but when i first heard their name i thought it sounded lame

Echo and the bunnymen: Sounds like a saturday kid cartoon to me.

Fugazzi: great name, great band.

The Jam: makes me think of grape jam every time

Boards of canada: makes me think about canadian education.

Has "Anal Cunt" been mentioned. Not exactly confusing, but it borders on "WTF".

I think A Sunny Day in Glasgow is an incredible band name. Really goes with their sound.
