Also got three Fellini films, all of which I already love, but good to have physical copies. Probably my favourite director. |

I bought myself two present for Christmas.
The first is a usb audio interface, the Focusrite i2u2. The second is a pair of Audio Technica ATH-M50X limited edition. I use the Focusrite mostly as a dac and headphone amp connected to my second computer, a 2010 i3 base iMac that is dedicated to music. |

I got two Judas Priest CD's and a reissue of Wanda Jackson's "Rockin' With Wanda"!
Oh, and I also got a mug shaped like The Beatles' Yellow Submarine! |
Oh, here's this thread. I posted some stuff in the Talk About Your Gear thread, but there's more.
Fender Mandolin Takamine Tenor Ukulele (kick ass little piece of wood) Bongos Fender Amp Lunch Box Pick Box w/Picks w/my logo on em Magnifying Sheet Candle Lighter Chicago Bears Keychain Chicago Bears Trivia Book A DoohicKey (it's a wrench, ruler, box cutter, screw driver, caribiner) A Guitar Fact Book Football shaped Playing Cards Pretty good haul. |
^ Excellent haul. :)
My family pooled their resources and gave me a Musician's Friend gift certificate. I've ordered a Guild M-120 parlor acoustic (a/k/a the "Nick Drake" guitar, although there is dispute as to whether he really played one). http://www.premierguitar.com/ext/res...JPG?1374070222 |
Nice! I used to have a mini nylon, but sadly I had to leave it in Germany when my tour of duty was up. Not enough room for it, and I just wanted to get the hell outa there. Big mistakes all over the board on those decisions.
Guilds are excellent quality guitars though, I'm sure you'll love it. |
That's a shame about the mini nylon. Speaking of softer strings: someone on Amazon mentioned that the Guild comes with phosphor bronze strings, which they replaced with Martin Silk & Steel. I'm a little concerned about the strings being so close together and hard on the fingertips. So I bought the Martin Silk & Steel in case they're needed.
