Good, I was almost starting to think people here didn't know how to take a stupid joke. Your reaffirmation makes me feel better.

Same happens to me with the hipster tag because apparently if I don't listen to mainstream bands that everyone has heard of I'm a hipster.

What's with you getting all uppity? I could give a **** about calling myself a metalhead. I listen to it way too much and for far too long a period of my life to deny the tag, but it's not something I bother with claiming.

You gotta just own the heavy metal BO stench and roll with it.

I find pretentious has more of a sting than poser or hipster.

I haven't been called a poser since i was 17 and even back then it didn't hurt me much.

I enjoy metal. I don't brag about it. I don't follow that metalhead lifestyle. I dress casually, except for maybe a band shirt. I just don't like being told that I'm a poser because of it. Don't call me a metalhead, cause I'm not, but I'm certainly not a poser.

EDIT: I take that back, I do brag about it. But its only because I really do love it. But I'm a poser, amiright guys?

Goofle: Always plays fun music in plug, and gives me high-fives when I play Holly Golightly!

Mondo Bungle: Also plays a good variety of music, but doesn't talk much when plugging, so I don't really know them very well. Except for that time when they put up a picture of a necklace they were making (which was really cool, by the way).

To be fair, you gave no hint that you were joking. You always call me a poser. I'm sick of this word now. Let's just leave it.
