did anyone watch the horrible abomination that is the grammys I mean I could of booked a better show of artist then that I don't think any of the current artist we talk about on here were there

Also I have no idea what the Grammy's are, I thought it was just for new releases. Did they both have new releases this year? What are the judges like? Does Grammy status actually affect people's thoughts on an artist or band?

I agree that the Grammy's are an abomination. That's why I don't watch them.

It's just two old ladies fighting for attention.

That happened back in the 80s. Jethro Tull received the award for best metal album, which is kind of like a techno artist who uses a synth winning a best pianist award.

I won't take anyone seriously that uses "Da" instead of "The". This isn't first grade.

The Kanye moment was pretty funny.

My man Kanye owned the grammy's last night. Da man's a God.

The Kanye moment was the highlight of the night. Other than that the Pharrell performance was cool, but overall pretty dull.

Both his performances were on point, and Only One is a beautiful song I don't care what anyone says.

I didn't watch.

I still tune in for the Oscars. They're not quite as far gone.

I read up on the rewards out of curiosity. Worse than I expected. Beck, St. Vincent and Aphex Twin winning is really cool though. They're not my first choices (except maybe Aphex Twin), but it's nice to see, all things considered...

I don't see the appeal in auto tune used in such an obnoxious way. I like the little instrumental behind it, and the singing would be fine without the autotune rape.

Autotune is a really cool thing, though. Mainstream pop artists tend to use it very obnoxiously but I'm glad it exists.

I think Beyonce deserved it, to be honest. It was basically an audio visual album and the kind of work that really pushes the boundaries of the medium.
