How about The Doors?

Touch Me
People Are Strange
The Crystal Ship
Riders on the Storm
Light My Fire

Probably biased towards the more well-known songs, because I own the greatest hits CD and play it in the car often. "When the Music's Over", "The Soft Parade", and "Soul Kitchen" are runners up.

Frownland 04-21-2015 08:14 PM

For Doors I'd probably say
When the Music's Over
The Unknown Soldier
The End
Light My Fire
People Are Strange

Mondo Bungle 04-21-2015 08:17 PM

The Doors:

The End
Love Street
Shaman's Blues
The Soft Parade
Waiting For the Sun

Nice mentions of "Unknown Soldier" and "Waiting for the Sun". Those are also runners-up for my top five.

I always thought that When the Music's Over was everyone's favourite based off of conversations with other people as well as how could it not be?

I love that **** (though "Mountains" is an odd choice) but I have a weakness for Manowar's OTT anthemic songs. Those modern songs are also some of the few that I'd put on a favorites list. They were hit-and-miss as **** after Kings of Metal, but when they hit, they hit hard. "Call to Arms" just makes me want punch people, and I'm a ****ing pussy.

That's a band that I need to have a good binge on soon. For some reason I've listened to them twice, and both times I couldn't believe how fantastic they were.

It's not really a they, just a he, but yeah, he's one of my favorite "bands" of all time and probably my biggest direct influence as far as my own shit goes.

If I could find a Youtube clip I'm sure it would make more sense, but it's an SNL reference that I'm too lazy to explain.
