Man, our tastes are pretty different. I don't have time to put a list together atm, but I doubt any of these songs would be on it.

I do love The Kinks though.

That's such a fantastic song. Any song with a mean blues riff and harmonica is almost always infinitely better than a song without them. One of the few instances of a pop band writing a legitimately good straight up rock'n'roll song.

Although I'd be hesitant to label The Kinks as pop; from what I understand, they were pretty important in punk's development.

Maybe at first, but by the time of The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society? Not so much. More like a less self-consciously psychedelic Beatles.
