This is like a science experiment, except I'm not logging the data.

A. G. Cook - Radio Tank Mix (2013)

It's about time you listened to some of that sweet sweet bubblegum bass. And this is one of the best collections.

Neither of which are possible with my home situation, but I'll certainly add it.

I consider Tommy Bolin's solo on Quadrant 4 as the missing link between Jimi Hendrix and Eddie Van Halen.

I forgot who I was listening to... but recently I heard someone channeling that very same solo in a tune. I need to go over what I've listened to in the last few days to remember who it was, but anyway, I used to have a Boss rack mount delay pedal that I'd set for infinite repeat, then strike a low E, and then play with the nobs until it sounded like a dragster taking off. Similar to what Tom does in that solo, and when I first heard that tune, I went "Ah ha! I know what you did there Mr. Bolin" in my head.

You asked for this. It's not my fault.

^Ja, I'm just not that mean. I chose that Beefheart record because it's pretty accessible imo and I knew you'd never listen to it otherwise. Here's one to give you a breather after listening to old Merzy.

Terry Riley, Africa Express - Africa Express Presents... Terry Riley's In C Mali
