Default Technical help...

F*ck me if there's something for this already, I couldn't be pressed to search...

I need the simplest way to convert FLAC files to MP3's.

Anyone here know how to do this? I downloaded a program but it's confusing.

Help a guy out?

Audacity: http://sourceforge.net/projects/audacity/

It's very versatile and user friendly, and not to mention free.

EZ CD Audio Converter - Convert mp3 flac m4a aac wma

I use this, it's basically 3 programs in one, rips to anything you want, converts everything and burns too. Plus it's really easy to use. I'm rubbish at setting this stuff up and it took me minutes to figure it all out.
And free.

I pity both a machine not capable of downloading Audacity, and a mind not able to understand and use it. Either way, it's a loss, since you can do quite a bit more than just convert audio files with it.

My machine is a beast. It downloaded it fine.

I am exhausted, so comprehension is at a low. I still have it on my computer so I'll likely give it a go again this weekend.

@ Urban

Your program works. But after I convert, I cannot find where it saves on my computer.

There should be a folder called Any Audio Converter in your Documents. After going into that folder you'll find your downloads in the MP3_AUDIO folder within.

you can set the folder you want it to go in.
Just do a search for a song you just converted and you should find the default folder.
