Sounds like a yes to me. Personal taste can influence your choice if you like (see my post on The Who) but you can still vote that something's classic without liking it (see TH on Metal Machine Music).

I thought it was should it be considered a classic, not is it a classic.

ok the cars is a classic. donnno the point of "deconstructing" tho. like I can say the cars are purified garbage without thinking its not a classic
