So I've noticed that there is a good number of musicians here and I was wondering if anyone was interested in this idea I had.

I have an idea that once a week or once every two weeks or something, maybe we could all meet up in a plug DJ room and take turns playing some of our music, giving feedback, constructive criticism, sharing ideas and production / composition methods, tips and tricks.

I was originally thinking that maybe the first date could be this Saturday but then I realized that Saturday is July 4th, so maybe we can shoot for

July 12th, Sunday at 4PM

I don't plan on using MB's plug for a couple of reasons. First off, this isn't the only place where I'm advertising this. I plan on hitting up a few subreddits, telling someone of my friends, going to the /mu/ soundcloud thread and maybe the bandcamp thread too.

Also, I don't want to interfere with other people using the room. So this room isn't really directly related to Music Banter. I just figured it was good place to start promoting it. I want to be pretty relaxed when it comes to rules. The only big rule I can think of is that when meetups are in session, you can only play original music that you've made, whether it is remixes or covers or completely original work.

So yeah let me know if you're interested, if you plan on coming, if you want to come but can't because the time doesn't work for you, etc. Obviously anyone can come, even if they aren't necessarily a musician or if they don't have any work to show.
