Everyone posts music, everyone decides if we like it. If one person doesn't like it we continue the search for more. If everyone likes it, we continue the search for more. Get it? Got it? Good.

Does everyone like The Dark Side of the Moon?

Of course, but I don't get the point of your thread.
If everyone likes it we continue on to the next track/album? How many have to like it before we go on? And then, if someone does not like it, we .... also move on??

But you can certainly put me down as a DSotM fan, sure.

I hate those background singers, but the album as a whole is still rather good.

Yes. Everyone who responds until the next album or whatever is posted. Yes. I just want to see if everybody can agree on one album with the debate raging in the Metal Album Survivor thread.

Try posting something and the idea may become clearer to you.

What TH means is that typically we have people taking turns to maintain order (like a survivor thread). Otherwise everyone will just spam posts albums and it will be an unorganized mess.

Are you the only one who will be posting albums? How do we decide when a concensus is reached? etc

I still don't get it.
How long do we wait before posting another album? Is there a specific amount of likes/don't likes you have to reach, or a particular number of posts that have to be made? I mean, I understand the basic idea, but it's the implementation of it that confuses me. If I post something now, is the "battle" on Dark Side over? And if so, can't anyone cut off an album they don't like by posting one they do? I just don't understand how this is supposed to work.

Sorry, I'm not trying to be deliberately obstructive; I just need to know the rules, if there are any.

Edit: yeah, what DWV says. In the "Survivor" or "Battles" threads, one or the other has to triumph before you can move on, so say an album gets 4 likes and 9 dislikes, then it loses and we move on. That sort of thing. I can't see how this is supposed to work like that.

I particularly like the way it looks like Joey/Eric/Ross whoever is saying that and pointing...

So what I would suggest is get people to vote yes or no for each song/album, as I did in my "Deconstuct the Classics" thread. Then once the balance is tipped either way you can move on. That's what I'd do anyway.
