Who is your favorite 'youtube' music artist? Why? Do you recall the first time you discovered the artist(s)? Are they signed to a major record label now?

The big youtube/mainstream crossover right now is Tori Kelly, I found her on YT 3 years ago, and now she is a pretty big success!


But my favorite youtube artist to listen to right now is a rapper from toronto,, D Pryde. He just came out with a new album/mixtape. Ive been following him for a while now, and its like I grew up with him, his style and lyrics have changed ssssooooo much.


Favorite youtube artists of all time. Pentatonix. If you dont know who they are...well. Probably one of the HUGE successes from their genre of music!

Huh? What is a Youtube artist? I can understand for comedy and skits and stuff but anybody who is a musician puts their stuff on youtube for notoriety. You might as well ask us who our favorite musician is.

Notoriety? Youtube is a valid spot to post content, sure, there are better content hosting sites... And i guess I could have just said 'favorite musician that you have discovered online,' but I usually do all my discovering on yt.

The point I'm trying to make is that just about every band and musician is on Youtube.

Mozart is my favorite Youtube musician.

fyi you're not as obscure as you think you are if you're listening to someone off of Youtube. I prefer artists who post videos on lesser known video platforms like WatchBank or nobodyknowsbutmeanditsawesome.
