This year marks the 38th anniversary of Elvis passing away, yet he still lives on in people's minds. Would you take a road trip to Graceland if you could to mark Elvis passing and what is your single most favorite Elvis song?

The other thing is not much promotion was given to the gospel records that Elvis made. I think they wanted to portray him more as a dangerous leather clad singer then a man who was deeply religious. It looks like Elvis sang a huge amount of gospel songs......

Agreed. As for favourite song, In the Ghetto is a masterpiece.

I'd like to take the trip at some point, see the jungle room and all that. Favorite song is tough though. Probably My Baby Left Me or Are You Lonesome Tonight, but That's All Right, Milk Cow Blues Boogie, the alternative take of I Love You Because, and Love Me Tender all come close.

It's more about celebrating their life and work on the day they died. Celebrating someone's life on the day they died is a common thing so it makes sense people would do the same with artists they admire.

All the accountants advised Priscilla to sell Graceland and other things Elvis owned because truth be told he did not have a lot of money when he died. She decided instead to open up some parts of Graceland as a place people could visit. She eventually made millions of dollars for herself and Lisa Marie.........I'n sure millions of Elvis fans are happy that she did not sell Graceland.
