Default Dat chorus though

This thread is for those songs you like that perhaps don't have a great verse but they have a great chorus.

I was singing Lou Reed's perfect day and that chorus is so ingrained in my head it got me thinking about songs with a really memorable chorus and THAT got me thinking about Strangers by the Kinks

This song is a classic but ive always thought the song had a boring slow paced verse. the beginning is so slow and folksy, it's the kinda song i would skip within 20 seconds but then the verse switches the last note and all of the sudden it creates a built up for an amazing chorus.

It's one of the best transitions ive ever heard from a verse to a chorus and rhythm wise it's not a hard one to play but the vocals make it shine with its melody and message.
