soundgardenrox, you listed Thrice on your list of bands that play only powerchords. Have you ever listened to Thrice? Because if you have than you would realize that they have one of the most original rock guitarst, Teppie Tereshini, in the band and his riff work is unbelievable. Your ignorant as hell in that statement. And Flamingfishbone, the only song the NOFX ever did that was remotley complicated was Electricity. Sorry, but El Hefe isn't all the great of a guitarist...at all

Ok, first of all riseagainstrocks, go to ultimate-guitar.com and look at thrice tabs and nearly all of their songs are consited of power chords i found 1 song that didn't! Wow, one song! and again thrice is a horrible band! They have some talent at fills but theres no talent at their riffs. They can play them kinda fast but then again i could play their songs its just ridicolous that a band like this can idolized so much. But thats the way life goes when music like this is mainstream.

Um....first of all i don't go to hot topic. And the alt rock i listen to was mainstream. But I respect u for listening to good bands such as social d and black flag and minor threat Kill for Satan. Just curious do u like the Hellacopters or the New York Dolls, or Iggy Pop and the Stooges?
