I think everyone should try to listen to Boris, and I mean get really in there. They're definitely more than just drone metal if that's all you know about them. It's all amazing stuff, and they're discog is big enough and varied enough to last you a lifetime.

I reccomend starting with either Heavy Rocks (2002), Smile, or Akuma No Uta: as those seem to be their most accessible. If you wanna just jump right in there though, listen to Feedbacker, Flood, Vein, or Amplifier Worship.

OOIOO is a band I need to dedicate some time into scouring their back catalogue purely by the fact this song along seems custom made perfectly for me.
