SUGGEST ME AN ALBUM - I'm probably not going to listen to it but I will if you bother me enough.

I'll go "Heroes"

Station to Station deserves to win it all

Scary Monsters had to go; it's a tedious dirge when you take out those great singles...

"Heroes" is out for me here. The other two will be extrmely difficult to separate though.

Personal choice of course. I was similarly aghast when Lodger was discarded at the drop of a hat. Boys Keep Swinging must rank amongst the coolest songs ever, plus Repetition, Look Back In Anger and Move on. Great tracks.

"Heroes" to me is all about that classic title track and little else really, perhaps V-2 Schneider is up there too.

We must look beyond the singles and hopefully you are all actually revisiting these albums with a fresh listen and not working from memory dating back some years.

Each to...etc.

Interesting because you seem to really dislike Scary Monsters other than the singles, when I think the whole album has a cohesiveness and atmosphere, and some of his best song writing ever. I don't even like the singles as much as the other tracks.

It's strange actually because I remember loving the album when I originally bought it. Playing Scary Monsters again last week disappointed me. If we look at it as a 'vinyl' album with two sides, Side 2 seems to be a bit of a let down after the glorious singles on the first side.
Only my opinion though.

Separating Low and Station To Station will be extremely difficult for me though.
