I mean, I would say no - healed and cured pretty much connote the same thing - but I'm not trying to police anyone's language, I'm just trying to explain why I think we shouldn't use the kind of language that is a really minor feature of the OP. If you feel like the link I posted outlines compelling reasons, you should consider to which other words those same reasons apply. But I don't want to derail the thread.

ETA: Nevermind I'm on Music Banter, every thread gets derailed eventually.

You blow my mind. If you're gonna diss on Genesis, uninspired should be the last word you want to use.

Again, this may be a case of coming at it from different age genres.

Transport yourself back to the early 70s and tell me that this is "uninspired".

So basically you want me to listen to it through your childhood ears. Not a very strong case for flat and stale Genesis.

It's cool man, you can drink the expired soda if you like. Just don't force it onto someone who's never heard music before. That's just mean.

Let me guess, nobody ever did it before yadda yadda. I'm surprised you're not into avant garde music if that's such a huge factor for you.

You're just not getting it. Early Genesis was avant garde. They were doing **** that no-one had done before in the rock field.

Duh!

There were a lot of bands that decided to make dull music before them, let's not fool ourselves here.
