In my short time on MB I have noticed that people seem to have trouble actually running with the subject of a thread, as specified in the opening post. For every genuine response to the OP, there appear to be about half a dozen posts consisting of nitpicking, deliberately misunderstanding the question, etc. My interpretation of the OP was that it is asking who is your single favourite musician or band. The point is, we normally don't have several threads on the exact same topic, and if a new thread with such a topic gets started, they are typically merged, and I'm sure that older thread goes as much for solo artists as it does for just bands btw
