i did go through a phase of buying Smash Hits, but that was only during my synth-pop faze, so I never had problems with lyrics to songs in 84 to 85

a local magazine called "Movie News" also printed lyrics (go figure!)

I never know what to make of these two:

In Jet's "Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is" I thought the background vocals during the chorus said "Show me your balls"...They actually say "Show me yours", so I wasn't too far off I guess.... :(
