Default What genre is this??

Hello

First of all I want to say sorry if i place this topic in wrong forum.

I need help identifying what the genre of music is this (and i want to know similar sounding bands, instrumental/vocal wise not lyric to be honest.

Im not looking for bands similar to this below, but bands similar to the parts i chose below.

Ok here from around 0:40

Mr. Bungle's first album is kind of its own thing, but the overarching genres I'd say are alt metal, ska, and experimental.

The part in Girls Of Porn is funk, the part in Stubb is kinda ska-ish.

I'd say the first bit is simply white-dude Funk with a dash of soul singing.

The second is reggae, perhaps ska.

Hard to recommend anything specific, but for some reason I thought of Joan Osborne's song 'Safety in Numbers' when hearing the first part.
For the second part, well... old No Doubt? :P
