Does music have more positive or negative effects?

I was just wondering, which is it? Is music like drugs or is subjective or something like that?

Deep stuff.

I'm being serious. I want a discussion. Someone said that music has an effect like drugs, but I think it's more comparable to the sense that people get when doing something productive in general such as exercise or poetry.

Bro it depends on what you fill your soul with, honestly.

You really have to be careful what kind of music you pour into yourself, because I could get deep on you here but as I don't know you I might scare you because. I wear the tinfoil in this ****ed up forum family.

Music increases your chances of going deaf. Avoid it at all costs.

Why don't you elaborate a little.
"It's like drugs or something or possibly not" isn't really discussion material.
