might be slitting hairs here, but the angst of grunge and the anger of punk are two totally different things. Then again, it's easy for me to pick out "differences" among things.

I would bring up my grunge article again, but I don't wanna advertise that thing to death.

I just view things based on the music which you'd think would be the normal, sane thing to do, but everybody's all making up all kinds ass ****ing and junk. Take the lyrics away from your standard grunge band and I'd still call them grunge, because their music sounds like grunge.

Yeah, no. Punk angst is plain anger in general, whereas grunge angst is whiny teenage anger.
