Exactly! Helmut is on Wikipedia as Alternative Metal, I just consider them as Alternative Rock.

edit: with all the sub-sub-sub-genres of Heavy Metal, do they really need Alternative Metal? seems like an oxymoron.

So where should I go to get genre info beyond the basics of rock, pop, etc?
