A so-so album gets in your honorable mentions?

Do you have some examples of artists you've checked out and been disappointed by? Honestly everything about hip hop I've seen you post here is in favour of whatever artist you or someone else is talking about.

Frank Ocean would be one. Though why would I post about a hip hop artist if I didn't like them? I'd do it with other genres, obviously. But I'm still finding my bearings for hip-hop, so i'll only talk about the things I like.

Frank Ocean is R&B (and not that great) unless you're talking about Odd Future. I'm just trying to get a feel of what kind of hip hop you don't like because there's a lot of great **** out there.

I mean, a lot of what i've listened to I've liked.

Travis Scott, Kanye West, Blue Scholars, and pretty much anything with a good flow and lyrics.

As Frown mentioned, Frank Ocean is R&B but not even traditional R&B.
He's more PR&B like an alternative to R&B.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

I guess it depends on how many albums you listen to during the course of the year and how many of them you love. I'm having a tough time narrowing my list down to 10, but I'm safe to say any honorable mentions will be albums I consider to be great but just not quite able to crack the top 10.
