Yes, it's a thing in my life—it's unavoidable this time of year. I worked retail when I was younger so I get sick of it really fast. I wish it was only played on Christmas Eve.

I don't really have favorites anymore because I've heard them all so many times, but I do sort of like Elvis' "Blue Christmas" because it's fun to sing along to.

It's a yellow and black Christmas. Yellow because of all the cheese, and black like my soul.

Sufjan Stevens, as you mentioned, has some great holiday tunes.

Of course the best of all is the soundtrack to The Nightmare Before Christmas. I've watched this so much that I can sing about 3/4th of the songs off the top of my head.

I only like the music from the Halloween part of the film, the Christmas songs in it are boisterous and annoying.

I'm a pretty serious Christmas junkie, and sometimes even listen to Christmas music in the middle of the summer!

I like a variety of Christmas music but my favorites tend to be traditional Christmas carols.

Love this album! Played it last week, in fact. Also, it's not Christmas without every Mannheim Steamroller album on repeat... cliche as that may sound. I also listen to Elvis around Chrismas (which is the only time of the year that I ever find myself interested in his music, tbh.) Like Nea, I also listen to Charlie Brown Christmas album a good bit.
