Lots of good lists in here. Satch, I love that Black Star album. "Thieves in the night" is one of the best hip hop songs I've heard in the past five years.

What new joint? I'm assuming it's off Beautiful Struggle? Honestly, that album was kinda disappointing, well especially for me, because I was on my heels anticipating it.

You ever check out Reflection Eternal with Hi-Tec? Really good Talib album.

My bad. I just looked at his discography. I didn't know that album was released almost a year ago?!?!?!?! I guess I really meant his collaboration with Kanye West ("Get By"), but anyways....

I positively love that album. I also have Hi-Tek Presents.... which is various artist with his beats. Hi-tek did a remix track with Soulive, one of my favorite jazz/funk bands, called Bridge to Bama'. Talib flows on it too. They did a trek with Black thought too. I don't know where your at with jazz, but I figured I'd throw that in.

Yeah, I'll definitely do that, but for now got to www.soulive.com and go to their audio/video section. Pretty substantial stream of their music, all live track too, nothin' studio. I think you'll really like it a lot. Don't forget to check out the "beats" section. Soulive has a side project goin' on called The Fire Dept. which is a consortium of live musicians who also produce beats. The beats they feature on the site are ill !!!!!!
