YES. I remember hearing that for the first time was one of those occasions when music makes you freeze with astonishment

These are pretentious song titles:
Natural Liberation Of Fear Through The Ritual Deception Of Death
Chapter Of Obeisance Before Giving Breath To The Inert One In The Presence Of The Cresent Shaped Horns
Dusk Falls Upon The Temple Of The Serpent On The Mount Of Sunrise (This is a 50-second intro)
Yep, those are pretentious too. What makes 'time' and 'money' pretentious is not the length of the title, but the fact that they named songs after those concepts

Now that's a low bar.

Ah, Nile. Now that's a band with some easy-to-remember song titles.
My personal favorite song title of theirs:

"Papyrus Containing the Spell to Preserve its Possessor Against Attacks from He Who is in the Water"

not really. Those are not just any concepts, but huge and very abstract ones. I guess being pretentious means giving yourself an air of knowing about very complicated things without actually being able to live up to that pretension. Writing a song about a complicated concept in a serious way implies that you think you have something interesting to say about it. If someone mentioned to you that they were writing a song about time, wouldn't you think them pretentious?
