Which tours? I was hoping he'd do some live shows to promote ★. Sucks being born in the 21st century. :D

I swear that Alex's Hiwatts were making my hair move during 2112 that night. Every power chord was a gut punch, in an extremely good way.

(I forgot to mention I was high on mescaline the entire show.)

Sonny Landreth is a monster.

I first saw him at Antone's in Austin, TX about 15 years ago, with about 150 other people, and he's been one of my favorite guitarists ever since. He was the opening act for Peter Frampton in 2013 when I saw him in an arena setting.

1978, 1983 (x3), and 1987 for the arena shows. I also saw him at Avalon in Boston (which I'm pretty sure had a 600 people capacity) in 1996.

His live tone is just pure butter. Probably better than Eric Johnson.

I'm scared of such huge crowds of people.
