For those who care, August 27 is the deadline but it's not in stone. If you want to participate fully after that date, or find your circumstances have changed, you suddenly could be bothered etc, you can still let me know and provided you back up your words with action, you can go on the Greenlist. The deadline is just to give me some idea of who's serious, especially for round three and beyond.

The Greenlist is the list in the OP of people who are currently eligible to suggest albums. Their names are in green, hence the name. Like a blacklist, y'know, only, well, not black, but green.

Technically, we're finishing up on Innerspaceboy's album, Underworld's Barbara, Barbara, We Face a Shining Future, and are about to go on to Frownland's choice, which is Molam: Thai Country Grooves from Isan, so basically whichever you want to tackle.

Albums are supposed to be reviewed by Saturday, with a carryover if necessary to Sunday, but I recently extended that for an extra week, so while really everyone should be listening to Frownland (never thought I'd hear myself saying that!)

they, and you, can if you wish also continue to listen to and review ISB. Up to yourself. You're also free to review or listen to any of the previous albums in round two - they each have a separate thread here.

The album is in the OP. If you are ever lost on which you should be listening to.

So two weeks worth of participation moving forward is enough to get on the green list? I'll be able to review more now with this laptop that I got. I don't mind being penalized and having my selection be at the bottom of the list. I would still like to suggest one though eventually.

Keep up with the OP and you'll be fine. I removed all the orange and red markers, as I'm no longer bothering moving albums down, as I explained. Now, it's quite simple: anyone who is eligible to suggest an album - which is anyone who has pretty consistently participated since round two began - have their names shown in green, to indicate they're the only ones who can choose albums. It's really not that confusing.

It's got nothing to do with two weeks participation. I do wish you'd read the posts I write, instead of cherry-picking the bits you want to whine about.

In a nutshell, nobody's album will be moved from where it is. Anyone who does not declare their intention to really take part will no longer have an album on the list. If one has been posted, it will be removed. In round three, members will be ranked in order of how much they put into the club in the previous round. In the case of two or three people contributing the same amount, their positions will be retained relative to where they originally were. In other words, if say Anteater and Occult were first and second, and they each keep up the good work, they'll remain first and second.

I'm taking the above as your desire and pledge to contribute more, and so will pop you on the Greenlist. Give me an album when you have a mo.

I should mention that if someone fails to live up to their promise they can of course be removed from the Greenlist. Hopefully that won't happen.

I suppose I should also make it clear this is not directed at you, DJ: just letting everyone know I expect them to keep their end of the bargain up, as it were.

So he had two lists, that had colors, one of which was secret. I don't even know if that's tyranny or just goofy.
