The Album Club 2017

Unless we’re going to allow everyone to make picks but not play we should drop it. I say drop it. It’s not fair to keep it and like Mic says if you’re curious you can listen to it. And btw, how many people still haven’t reviewed this week’s pick?

As far as I can tell, these are the one's missing yet:

Trollheart
Frownland
DJ Chameleon
Anteater
Psy-Fi

The list did seem to not have been updated though, with Mord being on it and Rips not being on it? Are all of these posters still on board?

Rips is not on the list; she's a casual (very casual) member. The only ones on the Greenlist are those who are eligible to select albums.

Note to Goofle and DJ:

Out of six albums to date in round three, Goofle, you've participated in two, DJ in one. Your own albums (which neither of you have selected yet) are coming up next month. I need to see some proper participation from youse guys, otherwise, like Mord, I'll be removing you from the Greenlist and your albums will be taken off the queue (even though you haven't picked any yet; your space will be taken up, then).

I don't say this to be mean or Hilterian

but to provide fairness to everyone else who is putting in the time. I don't want to end up with a club of four people, but that would mean everyone would get more albums in per year. I'd prefer everyone got one/two a year and we had a dedicated membership of twenty, but that's not likely to happen. However, the others on the Greenlist do tend to make sure they take part every album, or every other album, and it's unfair for them to have to wait an extra week while someone who isn't pulling their weight in the club gets to have their album listened to, then in all likelihood doesn't drop in again for weeks or even months.

I understand you both may have issues/problems participating, and if so, that's fine, but I can't hold your places if you're not taking part. So please let me know if you want to remain part of the club or not. We can revisit this in round four, but for now I need to know if I leave your albums up or not. In order for that to happen I need you to be able to listen to, and post your comments on, the next three albums at least, starting with this coming week's one.
