Good review by the way.
I doubt you'll like their second album any better than the first, as this was hard-edged compared to The Door Behind the Door, which is pretty much dreamy all the way through.

Re your point about Merzbow etc; all I want, as I said, is a few lines if that's all you can manage, and I would rather everyone listened to every album, otherwise we'll have a pick-and-choose mentality where half the albums won't get listened to.

Now I have to go: Poland won't invade itself, you know.

Ja and that doesn't seem like it would really be an issue. I'm saying we should do something more sensible so that this thread retains an element of fun and not of totalitarian obligation. A 3 strikes rule sounds reasonable.

But let's not pretend either that you and him weren't just gunning for me. You know you were: you have form.

Anyway, **** the rule. Let's do the three strikes thing then. Is everyone happy with that? Miss three albums and your next slot is moved to the back of the queue? Is that three times in a row, or three times in total?

No I thought it was a dumb idea when OH said it, and I actually like him. Sometimes people just disagree with you without it being a personal attack.
