The Album Club 2017

As highlighted by the selection chosen by Anteater this week, I'm posting a new rule. I thought it would have been obvious, but I guess not.

So: any album chosen by anyone in future MUST be readily available to all. That's either Spotify, YouTube or, in a pinch, Bandcamp, but preferably one of the first two. If not, choose something else. I don't want people having to search for albums and I know there are those here who prefer not to download links and ZIP files, even from people they (presumably) trust.

So in future, check your album is open to all before you post. Otherwise change it. There won't be an exceptions to this. It's hard enough to get people to listen to the albums without expecting them to try to dig them up from obscure sources. I'll add this to the OP.

^I'd be surprised if people's albums weren't at least on spotify. Unless you wanna be super obscure which is never fun in these types of things.

Okay, Anteater has suggested a new album and the thread for that has been made. The Asturias thread will be closed, but until then, please do not post in or vote on it. Thanks.

Closing after 2 votes. Why not keep it open and allow more people to listen and vote? Or has that always been the rule? I honestly dunno.

Cos it's now an invalid album. Ant has chosen a new one, which now has its own thread.

Because taking 1.5 minutes to download, unzip, and open an album is just too strenuous for some members to even consider.

They'd only get two thirds of the album unless they downloaded the zip file and that's always dicey thought I'm sure Ant's fine. I guess you can fake it though if you want to. Anyway, it's Troll's call.
