I saw Toto live back in summer 2015 on their tour with Yes. They did an 8-minute jammed out finale version of 'Africa' that blew the doors down. :D

Sorry. You quoted me so it came off as you were defending it to me. Mah bad.

Better than the original. The guitarist is such a good singer I wish the bassist didn't accompany him except for maybe in the last refrain

He is a good singer but he uses voice modulation to get the pitch perfect. He just doesn't have to do that.

Why is that bad?

As Exo's temporary opinion ambassador, I say that it's because it's unnecessary and doesn't add anything to the music.

You've been permanent for a while.

It's not "bad". I just think he doesn't need to do that. It comes off processed and produced instead of raw and genuine which is what a voice that is heard in a pizza place should sound like.

Pretty good. But now that there's a version of Yes being fronted by Jon Anderson again (with Trevor Rabin on guitar and Rick Wakeman on keys) I think I'd rather see that particular lineup.

Toto put on an amazing live show in any case. They're definitely no soft rock slouches.
