Oh, I thought we had plenty of "what are [you] listening to" threads for that. I guess making one of these threads is easier (or more effortless) than I thought.

You said genres. Which implied all genres which is inherently false. And do you really want all of us posting all of the albums we listened to in those threads? It's to keep them free of clutter.

Yes, I did say "genres." In the "what are you listening to now" thread a little while ago, I mentioned Tycho. So, which genre would you say that they are: Ambient? Avant-Pop? Post-Rock Instrumental? Psychedelic? or is it some influence-melding of all these and more? I'm thinking that it's pretty tricky to pin this down dontcha?

So, the threads where people post albums that they are listening to
are only to be used sometimes? When? Every third album ... maybe seventh?

I wouldn't know. I don't listen to Tycho. But if you can't tell then maybe you should do some more research. There are set rules to what a genre is and what fits in there.

I don't care what you post and where you post it. I have my own thread to allow discussion for the albums I listen to and to help me keep track of what I have listened to this year.
