The tag Black Metal makes me giggle. What exactly does it mean? Where are the lines drawn? Who makes the determination?

Heavy Metal fans will lisen to "Black Metal" bands without the stupid name tag.

Jazz and folk are my favourite rock subgenres.

Black Metal has an incredibly easy to pin down sound.

Actually I'm with Chula on this one. BM might as well be glam metal.

Everyone knows that there are just two types of music: Sound music and silent compositions. And since 4'33'' isn't music, as everyone knows, there's just one. And it's boring.

Wasn't Varg Vikernes in Twisted Sister? I can't tell any of these guys apart. They're all hairy and they frighten me.
