Going back through the last few pages and realized I missed some posts.

First is for Frown, elph, and Ant who asked me for songs and then bailed.

This is your ****, Frown, so get on it.

I've always preferred Twiztid's story telling over ICP's because usually somebody doesn't get randomly sodomized or fondled in it. If you prefer goofy bull**** over talent that's on you, though.
Twiztid excel at whining like bitches about the mainstream and feeling depressed while trying to connect with kids half their age like surrogate dads who don't even know they exist. If I want that I'll just call my real dad. But I guess if you're shallow enough to dismiss something because it's not serious enough for a guy with spider leg hair then Twiztid are great.

It's not like Twiztid are brilliant rappers either. They're serviceable. They have good presence, but ultimately they just sound like another couple of rappers who got lucky as hell to get associated with a long term piggy bank.

I liked both of the songs I got referred here. 'Juggalo Island' made me laugh more than anything, but I could see someone doing a weird summer playlist where 'Juggalo Island' just comes blaring in right after Santana's 'Smooth' or something. Good stuff.

One of the more self-confusing moments as a "juggalo associate" is during one of many wasted moments on my old juggalo friend's porch listening to this song in the group and declaring that if I had the money I'd found such an island. I wasn't even just talking ****, I was drunk and wanted this **** even though I still never considered myself a juggalo. I don't even know.

Oh and I know that having won you over with a song that this is over, but here, have chill, fun **** if you would. It's pretty much the most mindlessly fun song I've ever heard live. You have to imagine your own fire hoses of Faygo and waves of confetti.

Now, they actually improved and became good rappers. All that you said much more applied to ICP. Refer to every interview they do where they cry about not getting awards or how everybody is picking on them. Or his little, "So do you consider us hip hop?" thing on Ebro's show. Or the fact that they are covering Rae Sremmurd songs to desperately connect to his youth. Also, let's not forget that J keeps hitting up and getting rejected by girls half his age. His way of picking up girls is giving them a record deal. Like Sugar Slam, the waitress. Blahzay Roze the girl he met on facebook. And his failed attempts to get with Nova Rockefeller.

Yeah, **** that ****. It's almost as corny as naming your record label Majik Ninja Entertainment.

FYI I'm just waiting until I'm in the right frame of mind to give it a fair chance, and these last few days have not been it.

There's plenty of **** I won't defend about ICP, but I don't have to because there's so much more I dig about them, whereas Twiztid really don't have much going on besides juggalo baiting, emo whining, and being the best rappers in a genre that has no need for good rappers. Anda have they become better rappers? I guess so, but they've also become creatively stagnant at the same time, making their improvements kind of irrelevant. Everything that's good and bad about Twiztid is basically all there in the same smelly lump of mediocrity on the floor, unable to to be ignored.

Maybe. Abominationz was their best album of their career and far above mediocre. Everything prior to that was great too. Now, they seem stagnant, but I prefer their good **** over anything ICP does. And yes this genre needs better rappers. Absolutely. Difference is, you listen to the **** because you think it's funny, I listen to the **** because it was cathartic. Which is why I don't listen to ICP. Hearing about their balls is not cathartic to me and isn't much funny anymore either because I'm not 13. Also, Twiztid are not the best horrorcore rappers. Eminem. Tyler, The Creator.

Woah, woah, woah. I do not listen to ICP just because I think they're funny. They're not particularly funny nearly enough for that. They have plenty of moments of being hilarious, intentionally or not, but I love them for a number of reasons, from being masters of pop, to their versatility over their first seven albums, to their use of simplistic hip hop in a unique and highly creative context (such as the minimalist, nihilistic atmosphere of "Dead Body Man" and "House of Mirrors", or the sing-song, Mother Goose vibe of "Toy Box"). If I only liked ICP ironically they would not currently be my top Last.FM artist by a wide margin. I ****ing love ICP and don't get it twiztid.

Secondly, Twiztid is only cathartic to sadsack people who are just as simplistic as they are. When I listen to later Twiztid I just hear white trash anthems for people who can't handle anything more creative and subtle. ICP do the same thing, but they at least have much more to their sound and can make their whiny anthems into something more colorful.

I think **** like this does everything Twiztid does but in a form that is also entertaining in a fantasty, production, and pop sense. If I don't want to connect to cretins with the emotional range of tribbles I can still enjoy it on other levels while still appreciating that ICP can do it all while still making cathartic music that isn't dull if you need more from your music.

I don't think they do what Twiztid does or I'd listen to them. Every once in a while they make something that I find good but doesn't hit nearly as hard as Twiztid. It's ironic to support ICP and say Twiztid make white trash anthems. Their both white trash, just one makes respectable songs while the other makes dick jokes and christian pop for corny goofballs and meth addicts.
