Iron Maiden I wud say! Theyre one of a limited number of metal bands I still like (with Rust in Peace Megadeth and er...)

Theyre absolutely awesome live and the latest album is quite frankly brilliant so there. In the 80's they made a string of really great albums finishing with Seventh Son in 1988 but I dont think they quite got it fully back together again till the latest album.

Totally with you on pre-7th Son Maiden , can't stand anything they did after that. I still listen to quite a few NWOBHM bands even though I hardly listen to metal much these days.
I actually own 5 copies of their Maiden Japan ep.

No Prayer for the Dying is awful. Fear of the Dark is not that much better apart from the couple of athems. Then the Blaze era was like a black hole. Brave New World and Dance of Death are decent enough albums but they dont feel complete. They finally got it together again with 'A Matter of Life and Death' and when they played the whole of it live it sounded amazing.

Mr. Bungle.

My friends couldn't take it, they almost threw the cd out the window.

Westlife.

They always stand out in my music library. People are always revolted when they find out I listen to Westlife but eh, I don't mind as long as its good music. They're a nice pop cover band.

Early SAXON? I know that the lyrics were a load of old arse, and their image was terrible, but they bring back so many memories of my youth and hair filled days!
