I love the first album and I mean love. It's not very original but what they do they did it well. Alas the second album had approx 3 good songs and the rest was awful. I think when bands become so big after only one release the praise can become tiresome after a while. I have done that myself with certain bands (I actually liked the Kooks album for about a month!), however with Hot Fuss I have gone back to it periodically and I still think it's a great album.

How could anybody like The Killers? Seriously there's far better and far more tuneful music out there than their overblown sh!t. They're also terrible live.

One band i like but noone else seems to mention are Jane's Addiction. Perry Farrell is one of the most unique artists of the last 20 years and Nothing's Shocking rocks like a bitch.

No, lots of people have a lot of time for Bjork on these boards.

I'm sure here Bjork is loved just saying in my day to day life people don't understand her or her appeal. the only thing anyone can ever say is something about the vespertine dress. LOL

Bjork's music transcends her dress sense. She is a highly individualistic artist and that goes a long way on boards like this. I still have'nt got around to hearing Vespertine though. Post is one of the best albums of the 90's.

Now I will backtrack at Anne Rice. Her version on modern Vampirism makes my blood boil. Oh well I have lost a fan lol.
