music's so subjective... I like alot of classic shallow 80's music. The videos make for great comic value aswell

and i've come under fire for my appreciation of thrash/industrial/death metal aswell, but that's just the people in my immediate circle. rawwwwwk etc

I can't stand Level 42 but I love me Fear Factory. We do share remarkably similar ideas on music. Have you heard of Propoganda? A german 80's synth pop band signed to Trevor Horn's ZTT label? Their album A Secret Wish is a little gem and had some quite progressive ideas going on.

That track is amazing, and what a video! It's new to me but I'm familiar with the ZTT label... literally just this morning I was reading about Trevor Horn's role in the production of ABC's 'Lexicon of Love'.
Paul Morley's 'New Pop' agenda of the time fascinating, it all sort of ties in with the Heaven 17's Penthouse and Pavement record I've been listening to alot. I guess you were born a little to late to have followed that as it was happening...?

Fall Out Boy...I'm not a fan of emo, but I think they actually have talent. Their lyrics are good and the guy's voice is awesome (in my humble opinion anyway).
