The inclusion of the debut makes me happy, as the first four tracks are the best thing Black Sabbath ever did, but "[Lol, obvs lol]" makes me want to gut you like a fish if you're being ironic.

Can't imagine a more awkward band to have been a fan of.

Or just that they're boring as **** to begin with.

I'll rep evil artists all day long, but rapists and child molesters might be beyond even me. Murder and racism are all fine and dandy, but sexual assault still leaves me cold. I guess I'm just a good person like that. Or at least they're not any fun to rep.

I'm still a Swans fan even though Michael Gira is a sexual predator. Thing is, I love the band so goddamn much but Michael was never the driving force for me. I don't listen to his solo stuff much. It's that combination of the rest of the band that does it for me. I'm seeing them in November and am going to try to talk to Kristof Hahn, Chris Pravdica, or Phil Puleo because to me their the main reason I love the band so much, at least this incarnation of the band. Also, I'm friends with a relative of Phil Puleo so there's a talking point already.

It's not like rape is a common theme in their music or anything like that...

I don't listen to Swans for the lyrics. I listen to Swans to block out the rest of the world with noise.

Me neither, but it makes it more difficult to separate the artist from the art, which I'm usually pretty good at doing. Not like I stopped listening to Swans, it just gives me a little more pause than it would if they were instrumental.
