Seriously - cliche or not - it's a sure-fire way to find a winner when you're thumbing through Spotify

Definitely a good rule of thumb. Atmosphere is huge in ambient music, so extending that to the artwork usually conveys a thoughtful artist.

We chatted about The Dead C a bit via PM and Skype when I was still on that so I associate it with you. I feel a bit daft for not thinking of CRJ but I'm not into her music so I guess I tune it out.

Or replace Slayer with Dolly Parton.

Now there would be an interesting duet act!

How could you act responsibly?

Definitely. I'm a bit too out there and douchey (and fat) to truly inspire romantic feelings in the general population, but I think my confidence in my idiosyncrasies make me more noticeable and likeable irl than some people might expect. Even if a lot of people find me abrasive they still kind of respond to me being just plain different and self-aware to a lot of the people they meet. Even the plebs recognize greatness.
