The album is certainly tepid adult contemporary pop and inconsistent, but I'll gut you like a fish for this. Pure chill fun tunes to assault your earworm soft spot. And are you legit ****ting on "Don't Be Stupid" or holding it up as one of the best tunes of our time? Cause it's god-tier pop that wrecks my Britney and Ke$ha loving mind and I could listen to it on repeat for a half hour and be thoroughly entertained. The kind of song that confirms that I'm a 35-year-old housewife who erroneously thinks Eat Pray Love is a good book and tells herself that her husband still loves her after all this time. The lyrics are epic cringe though.

I have woken up with That Don't Impress Me Much stuck in my head. Her songs are hard to forget, I'll give her that.

I'd like to get back into this after Christmas. I sorta fell off the face of the earth for a while. I legitimately think Shania Twain was the last thing I even rated on RYM. Just have not been with it.

That's the problem with music nerds. You guys often have insightful things to say and have interesting taste and opinions but lack discipline.
