Just cause this is the new Lovecraft thread I might as well say it here, but that Gerald's Game movie you keep insisting I watch for a Lovecraft rec is a Netflix original movie from 2017, right? Cause I know there's a movie from the 80s. So I'm watching the right thing? And if it's not Lovecraftian I'm gonna **** down your throat, Frown.

It's a Netflix original, and while it does have a lot of helpless despair I never recommended it as a Lovecraftian horror film. You should still watch it though bitch.

Back on topic, you probably want some death industrial in your life.

Well whatever the case I'm not quite a half way in and it's pretty ****ing engaging in a big way so who cares, right? A good movie is a good movie EVEN IF YOU'RE A LYING ****.

You should. You wanna see a Lovecraftian movie? Bam.

And I still got a half hour left of Gerald's Game but I'm going to bed cause I gotta. ****ing good **** though. Fascinated with how this ends and god damn has it been cool so far. Pretty surprised that I only have a half hour left with how much it feels like this movie could go on and still keep me sucked in.

I was actually considering watching it about an hour ago before you even asked but settled on Beyond the Black Rainbow because The Void looked like it could easily be really ****ty. It's on the radar now.

Anyway this might be the best answer for the OP

Back to the OP.

Lots of Katatonia fits IMO.
