If you really through that I doubt you would've considered it ''passable''.
I genuinely through it. What is it that you like about the show that makes it the greatest? Actually say something of value. Please.

Considering how little you contribute, elph, I wonder you even stay around here. You're forever bitching about this or that, and then when someone makes a thread like this you put a downer on it. I mean, what does it matter to you? All the guy is trying to do is what we're all trying to do here: listen to new music and talk about it. What's presumptuous about that? Tell you what is presumptuous though: ****ting on other people's ideas while adding zero of your own.
How's that punk album club going, by the way?
OOOOOHHHHHHHHH.
I personally think this thread is great. There are a few albums I'd like to share and am going to.

This is pretty straight folk by a German singer. It was recorded in 1970 but was only released a few years ago

He's a huge influence of mine, so definitely a compliment that you can hear it.
John Fahey invented American primitivism which blends neoclassical and piedmont blues with an emphasis on fingerpicking.
Consider that a rec btw
I always assumed primitivism to mean something else in music, but okay then, learned something new today. This is very different from the previous track. There's a lot of things going on in this guitar arrangement and I thought the music had been going on for longer when I was only about 1½ minutes into the track. I wasn't blown away on the first listen, but it certainly wasn't bad. I did like it to some degree, so maybe I'll check out a bit more of his stuff eventually. He can play the guitar for sure.

The drums sound really great here. That's the first thing about this track that I noticed. The singer is pretty good. She very much reminds me of some other singer, but I can't seem to pin down exactly who. I don't have the best history with this sort of music, but it does remind me of an artist I like in the same style: Alana Davis. Her album Surrender Dorothy is quite good, very underrated, and sounds quite a bit like this. Perhaps a bit more instrumentally intricate at times than this, but still, I think I could get along with Incognito if I just give it some time. There's a man on the album cover, so... is he a band leader or something? I'm assuming the singer here is not necessarily the only singer in this project, but that's only because of the cover.

This was so quiet that I almost forgot I was listening to it on the first time through, so I had to give it a second spin. Very, very mellow. Somewhat melancholy. This one is going on my Youtube favorites playlist for later use. I do feel like taking a closer look at this artist, since it does seem to be well within my wheelhouse.

You're not the only one. I messed up and skipped several tracks from a couple pages back. I'll be getting there soon enough.
