You'll learn.

All three of these tracks are better than anything on that The Fall album, although I wasn't exactly extremely impressed by that Pauline Murray track.

So basically, Siouxie and Gang of Four come the closest to being my thing. Still... I don't imagine I'll be listening to this sort of thing "on my own time", aside from maybe a favorite track or two if I find one I like more than most. The above Siouxie track is a pretty good candidate for that. It's got some really good ideas going for it and I like her voice.
If you want to check out more of Siouxsie's work, Juju, the album that song is from, would be a good place to start. It's a nice mix of both the melodic and harsh sides of The Banshees. I think you'd get a kick out of it.

Pylon are also a lot of fun if you want to try a band with a female singer that's energetic and very tongue in cheek.

Never even heard of Pylon. I'll check out both suggestions.

I hope you like 'em.

Tbh, though I love Post Punk, I have to admit that it's an acquired taste. So I totally understand if it's something that by and large doesn't really do anything for you.

That's because he refuses to go to class.
